Trevor Gilman has more than forty years experience in the design and management of building and engineering projects. He has been a Chartered Engineer since 1973. Based in Buxton, he is ideally placed to undertake work in all parts of the country. Much of the work involves buildings of all types, but a significant proportion has been in the specialist field of architectural engineering. The emphasis is on variety, with a wide experience brought to bear on finding a solution to unusual or difficult problems.
Trevor is a proud "Buxtonian" connected with many community organisations including Buxton Opera House. He is currently Chairman of the Buxton Local History Society whose website can be found here
The scope of the work varies from job to job, but is decided in consultation with the client. With many construction projects this means obtaining the necessary approvals from the local authority. This can include planning permission, Building Regulations consent, as well as sometimes obtaining entertainment and alcohol licences or other consents. Architectural metalwork and other more specialist projects often need to be managed from start to finish, including liaison at workshop level and supervision on site.
If you have an idea Trevor may well be able to offer a cost effective solution which totally satisfies your wishes.
